Each machine is built start to finish by a me personally. No assembly line. No shift workers. Your build number is laser-engraved in the frame. If you need support, you talk to the person who built your machine.

Fast Without the Drama

1500mm/s travel. 300-600mm/s print speed. Up to 30,000 mm/s² acceleration. But speed means nothing if the machine can’t handle it. STōN firmware lets you push to the edge of what the hardware can do — without blowing past it. Three built-in performance modes scale speed, acceleration, and cooling together. You pick the mode. The printer handles the math.

Automatic Load Cell Bed Probe

No inductive probe drift. No offset guessing. The STōN-PROBE measures actual nozzle contact force using a precision load cell. Consistent first layers, with any nozzle, any build plate. Zero added weight to the tool-head. 

Stock Klipper and Mainsail. Your machine

Klipper and Mainsail. Nothing skinned. Nothing rebranded. Nothing locked down. Our custom firmware systems (Modes, Flow limiting, Homing) are optional layers on top. Turn them off and you have a clean, standard Klipper printer. Turn them on and you have something that doesn’t exist anywhere else. All open source. All yours.

 If we use open-source, it makes sense to also be open source.

No SSH. No Terminal. No Nonsense.

WiFi hotspot setup out of the box. Connect from any phone or tablet. Static IP addresses pre-configured. Add a display, change settings, enable or disable WiFi, swap antennas — all without opening a terminal. The console prints status and diagnostics in plain language. Everything survives firmware updates.

The design favors fewer parts done right over more parts done cheap. Occam’s razor applied to a 3D printer. 12mm CNC plates from Czech and German suppliers. Milled flat. Not bent sheet metal. Not extrusion. Plate.

Genuine Raspberry Pi CM5, made in the UK. BTT Manta E3EZ controller. TMC5160 drivers at 48V on XY. Mean Well industrial PSU. EMI-filtered power input. IEC 60445 wiring standard for worldwide compatibility. If they make a CM6 tomorrow, you can swap it in. That’s the point of open hardware.

CPAP Cooling, Low Toolhead Weight

High-output blower system pulls cold air from the rear through a contained silencer box. High pressure at the nozzle. Reduced noise. Light toolhead for high speeds and accelerations. Not silent, but effective.

STōN FIRMWARE (all optional, all can be disabled)

• STōN Modes: PROWL (quiet/detail), HUNT (daily production), CHASE (full speed). Each mode scales speed, acceleration, square corner velocity, and fan speed together. Hard caps prevent exceeding hardware limits. LIVE_TUNE for mid-print adjustment. RAW mode removes all guardrails. Five CUSTOM slots for your own profiles.
• STōN Flow: volumetric flow limiting at the motion planner level. Set your hotend’s throughput ceiling per filament. Enforced before the move executes, not after. Disables with zero overhead.
• STōN Homing: sensorless homing with automatic retry and tolerance checking. Separate retract and homing currents. Auto-detects TMC driver type. No endstop switches to break or drift.
• STōN-PROBE: force-sensing bed probe using custom SAMD21 microcontroller and NAU7802 load cell ADC. Measures actual nozzle contact force. Five filter levels. Adjustable trigger thresholds. Two-pulse field configuration, no reflashing needed.
• Three-layer acceleration safety: mode scaling, hard caps, and Klipper’s motion planner each enforce limits independently. Fastest safe move, always.
• Safety-first print end: heaters kill with triple redundancy before park, retract, and cleanup.
• Z thermal compensation: automatic Z offset adjustment for hotend thermal expansion during probe and first layer.
• STōN Maintenance: five configurable service intervals tracked automatically by hours of operation. Reminders for belt tension, rail lubrication, nozzle replacement, and any custom intervals you set. Notifications print to console. No app, no cloud.
• Interruptible thermal soak with skip option.
