These terms govern all purchases from ston-3d.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER
The STōN-WoLF is a custom-manufactured product. Every unit is individually built, configured, serialized, and tested by hand in Prague, Czech Republic. Components are sourced, allocated, and assembled specifically for your order. This is not a product sitting on a shelf.
Please be certain before you place your order. If you have questions about the product, lead times, shipping, or anything else, email nathan@ston-3d.com before purchasing. We are happy to answer anything. We would rather spend an hour answering questions than deal with a dispute later.
PRODUCTS
The STōN-WoLF ships as a kit. The customer performs final assembly, including mechanical assembly and electrical connections. Assembly documentation and pre-configured firmware are included. If you require additional assembly assistance, contact us before ordering.
By purchasing, the customer acknowledges they have the technical ability to safely assemble and operate the product.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are listed in EUR and include VAT for EU customers. Payment is accepted via credit/debit card (Stripe) and bank transfer. Full payment is required at time of order. No installment or split payment plans are available.
LEAD TIMES
Because each printer is custom built to order, lead times vary. Current estimated dispatch is 8–10 weeks from order confirmation. This is an estimate based on current production capacity, not a contractual guarantee.
We will email you with updates on your order status. We do not promise specific ship dates until your unit is built, tested, and ready for pickup by the carrier. If your order is delayed beyond the original estimate, we will notify you.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL — CUSTOM GOODS EXEMPTION
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
Each STōN-WoLF is custom built to order with an individually assigned serial number, custom firmware configuration, and laser-engraved builder identification. Production begins after payment is confirmed. This qualifies the product as custom-manufactured under EU consumer law.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal does not apply to this purchase.
CANCELLATIONS
If your order has not yet entered production, you may request cancellation by emailing nathan@ston-3d.com. We will confirm whether production has started and process your cancellation if possible.
Once production has begun, cancellations are not possible. Materials have been allocated, components have been assigned, and work has started on your unit.
REFUNDS
Refunds are not available for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or delays within the estimated lead time window. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees.
We do not issue refunds solely because a lead time estimate was exceeded, unless required by applicable law.
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the communicated estimate, contact us to discuss your options. We will always be honest with you about where your order stands.
Defective units are covered under warranty (see Section: Warranty). We do not issue refunds for defects that can be repaired or for components that can be replaced.
RETURNS
Notwithstanding the custom-manufactured exemption above, we may, at our sole discretion, accept returns under the following conditions:
- Return must be requested within 14 days of delivery
- Return must be approved in writing by STōN-3D before shipping anything back
- Product must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging with all seals intact
- Product must be returned at the buyer’s expense with tracking and insurance
A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price applies to all approved returns to cover materials, labor, configuration, and testing already performed.
Returns that arrive opened, used, assembled, damaged, or without prior written approval will be refused and returned to sender at the buyer’s expense.

CHARGEBACKS
A chargeback is not a substitute for contacting us. If you have a concern about your order, email nathan@ston-3d.com. We respond to every message.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute on a custom-manufactured product without valid grounds may be considered misuse of the chargeback process.
Every STōN-WoLF order includes: a written order confirmation with these terms, a unique serial number assigned at time of production, documented production records, full communication history, and shipping documentation with tracking.
All chargebacks on confirmed custom orders will be disputed with complete documentation provided to the card issuer or payment processor.
If a chargeback is filed and later reversed in our favor, the order is cancelled and no product will be shipped. The customer will be responsible for any fees incurred by STōN-3D as a result of the dispute.
We are a small company. Every chargeback directly impacts our ability to build and ship machines to other customers who are waiting. Contact us first. We will always try to find a fair solution.
SHIPPING
Orders ship via FedEx International or equivalent carrier with full tracking. Signature required on delivery. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination. What you pay at checkout is what you pay. If carrier rates increase after your order, we absorb the difference.
When your unit is ready, you will receive tracking information before it ships.
SHIPPING — EU CUSTOMERS
VAT is included in the listed price. No additional fees. No customs. No surprises. Typical delivery after dispatch: 3–7 business days.
SHIPPING — NON-EU CUSTOMERS
SHIPPING — NON-EU CUSTOMERS (USA, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, AND OTHERS)
Non-EU orders are shipped on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis. This means the buyer is the importer of record and is responsible for all import-related charges in their country. These charges are not included in the checkout price.
Orders shipped outside the European Union are not subject to EU VAT at checkout (handled under the OSS scheme where applicable).
Your country may charge import duties, VAT/GST, customs processing fees, brokerage fees, carrier handling fees, and other import-related charges when the shipment arrives. These costs are determined by your local authorities and/or the shipping carrier and are the responsibility of the buyer.
We do not collect or prepay import taxes for non-EU destinations.
We declare the full and accurate value of every shipment. We do not under-declare or misrepresent shipment contents under any circumstances.
ESTIMATED IMPORT COSTS (FOR REFERENCE ONLY)
The following are typical estimates and may vary depending on local regulations, carrier fees, and customs valuation methods:
USA:
Approximately 3.1% duty rate on relevant HS classification (8477.80.0000). Shipments over $800 may require formal customs clearance. Additional broker or processing fees may apply. In some cases, carriers may request a Tax Identification Number (SSN or EIN) for customs processing.
UK:
3.1% import duty + 20% VAT, plus possible carrier handling fees.
Canada:
0% duty under CPTPP/CUSMA for eligible goods, plus applicable GST/PST (typically 5–15%) and possible brokerage fees.
Australia:
5% duty + 10% GST, plus possible import processing fees.
These estimates are provided for guidance only. Final amounts are determined by your local customs authority and/or shipping carrier.
CUSTOMS & DELIVERY NOTES (USA SPECIFIC)
For shipments to the United States, customs clearance procedures may require additional documentation and processing time for goods valued over $800. We provide all required export documentation, including commercial invoices and HS classification, to support smooth clearance and minimize delays.
RETURNED OR UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS
If a shipment is returned due to unpaid import fees, refusal of delivery, or failure to clear customs, any return shipping costs, customs charges, carrier fees, and associated losses will be deducted from any eligible refund.
SHIPPING DAMAGE AND LOST PACKAGES
Inspect your package at delivery. If the outer box is visibly damaged, photograph it before opening and note the damage with the driver at the time of delivery.
Shipping damage claims must be filed with the carrier. We will assist you with the claims process and replace damaged components where possible.
If tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days, or if the carrier confirms the package is lost, contact us. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, if necessary, arrange a replacement.
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
PACKAGING
Total package weight is approximately 28 kg (20 kg product + 8 kg packaging). Packages are drop-tested and inspected before shipping. All components are individually wrapped and secured.
WARRANTY
All products carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects, in accordance with EU consumer protection law. This covers defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.
The warranty does not cover: normal wear, damage from misuse, modification, incorrect assembly, use of incompatible components, or damage during shipping.
Individual components (Raspberry Pi CM5, Mean Well PSU, BTT Manta E3EZ, LDO heated bed, Microswiss hotend) carry their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist with manufacturer warranty claims where possible.
Warranty claims: email nathan@ston-3d.com with your order number, serial number, description of the defect, and photos or video. Defective parts or units are repaired or replaced at our discretion.
We do not issue refunds for warranty claims where repair or replacement is possible.
PRODUCT MODIFICATIONS
The STōN-WoLF is an open-source platform. You are free to modify hardware, firmware, and software. However, modifications void the warranty on affected components. If you are unsure whether a modification affects your warranty, contact us before proceeding.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STōN-3D s.r.o. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to: lost profits, production downtime, damage to other equipment, or failed prints.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the product.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Hardware designs are released under CC-BY-SA-4.0. Software and firmware are released under GPL-3.0. You may use, modify, and distribute under the terms of those licenses. The STōN-3D and STōN-WoLF names and logos remain the property of STōN-3D s.r.o.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
THE SHORT VERSION
This is a custom-built machine. Built by hand. Tested before it ships. Serialized to your order. If something is defective, we fix it. If it’s not ready, it doesn’t ship.
We don’t do refunds because you changed your mind, got impatient, or found something cheaper.
Don’t order unless you’re sure. Ask questions first.
If you’re the kind of person who values a machine that works over a machine that arrived fast, we’re going to get along just fine.
